Hello!

I just found this online community and I'm finding it helpful as I prepare for my upcoming breast- reduction surgery this Friday, August 22.

I'm finding that I'm excited but scared. The more I read about recovery, the more concerned I become about dealing with the pain.  The timing of this proceedure is not the greatest...my only child is starting kindergarten in two weeks, so I'm already feeling emotional about that change! However, insurance has approved and agreed to pay, and there is never a "great time" to have this done, so I'm just going for it.

If anyone else is preparing for surgery and feeling the same, please share your thoughts with me!
